Do not move an inch further until you've read our disclaimer.
Hi and welcome to NoFanBoy.Com where we try to bring your articles and reviews which are hopefully truly fanboy free. If it isn't tell us so and we'll re-write our articles/reviews if most agree that it is indeed showing the traits of a fanboy. This is our promise to you our wonderful internet community. According to Wiki:"Fanboy is a term used to describe any individual who is devoted to a single subject in an emotional or fanatical manner, or to a single point of view within that subject, often to the point where it is considered an obsession." According to http://www.urbandictionary.com: Fanboy is "An arrogant person who goes into an outburst every time something he likes is questioned. Fanboys usually acuse others of being fanboys." Will we here at NoFanBoy.Com be accusing others of being fanboys? .... Maybe..

Well done Top Gear Australia to the 2009 series! Much, much better in every aspect! Things have been re-thought out and the show is now so much more about cars and putting them to the test at their top gears. Thank goodness things have changed, and only in 2 series! Well done!

Australian researchers have found a way to store potentially 10,000 times the data on the same sized disc as a DVD using nanotechnology (using gold nano rods). Read full story at smh.com.au. Even though the shift is towards vapourware (e.g. Google apps where things like office software like MS Excel are provided and maintained online and not stored on your local computer) and and networked storage (e.g. rapidshare, megaupload) these days, I still think there is a market for disc technology like this for archiving purposes.

Terminator - The Sarah Connar Chronicles
I started watching this series on BluRay last night. My hope was that it would not turn the somewhat serious, awesome CGI, and sometimes gorish nature of the movies into a comical Walt Disney version for PG audiences as some movie-to-tv translations have become (*cough* Star Wars). What I was hoping to see was some solid character castings, well done story and concepts translation to tv, and also the intensity of the movies to remain. I don't expect CGI of the movie's calibre but at least to a level of some of the TV CGI king shows at the moment (Heroes comes to mind). I wanted it to be like top tv shows (IMHO) like NCIS, CSI, House, Life, Heroes, Supernatural and shows of these calibre in terms of characters, story, concepts, comical moments, action, and effects.
